RLP sucks
The diagnosis for my pain was Round Ligament Pain (RLP). It pretty much means that my uterus is growing and it's perfectly normal. Once the nurse told me this yest. morning I can't tell you how relieved I was. Everything and I mean everything was going through my mind on what could be causing this pain and it scared the heck out of me. *Phew* I can now breath just fine. I will be okay, I will be okay! :)

Something wrong...?
Today is the first day that I've been concerned about my pregnancy. For the past couple of days I've been having on & off cramping but have been ignoring it. Today is the day that I realize I should call my doctor. It could be nothing but it could be something and I'd rather find out it's nothing then be worried all day. I have cramping and I'm very shaky. I'm quite worried but trying to make it until 8 when I can call my doctor. Dear god, please let this be nothing!

15w2d bump

I'm finally updating with a new pic. I still don't feel like I have the pregnancy bump that everyone is talking about but, then again, I'm not the skinniest person in the world so maybe it will take me a little longer to go from lumpy to pregnant..LOL!
Besides that I've been feeling great and getting more and more anxious for April 28th to come!

14w4d apt.
It went really well. All the tests came back great and I'm 100% healthy! I did lose the 10 lbs. that I gained my first 2 months of pregnancy. The doctor looked at me and asked me why I was losing weight? I'm eating - I swear!! She's not concerned though so, in turn, I'm not. We heard the heartbeat and it's in the 150's. The doctor (who is hilarious) said it was a girl, looked for my reaction, and then said 'Just kidding, I really have no idea.' LOL - jee thanks lady! She then showed me where my uterus was and said that everything is measuring up right on time! I'm SO relieved! :)
April 28th is the big ultrasound day!! I can't wait!! I'm so glad that we have a super busy April so the time will fly by (hopefully!).

I feel so lucky
Seriously, I do. Not only am I blessed to be pregnant but I'm very blessed to have such a great husband. Sitting here about all the things he does for me and, now that I'm pregnant, he'll stop at no lengths to make me happy. I woke up this morning to my lunch already made in the fridge. I get in the car and there's a note from him saying how much he appreciates me working so much and he got me a 3 Musketeers Bar as a 'treat'. I realized at 10 PM last night that I was out of vitamins so he ran to the store and got me some for the morning.
He's also been working so hard so I could be a stay at home mom. We've talked about putting our child in daycare because that is pretty much our only option but we have since thought that it would be amazing if I was able to stay at home. He's working on building a side business with a couple of his friends and he's stayed up long nights to get this thing going. He'll go to bed at 12 and wake up at 4:30 to go to work and doesn't complain once. I've never seen him so deticated over something like this before. He gets emotional talking about it because he tells me all the time that he's not just doing this for me but for our family.
Maybe I'm just hormonal but I truly do feel very blessed.

12 week 'bump'
Wednesday, March 11, 2009
So I'm a little slow...
I really need to get better at updating this thing. I'm almost 12 weeks already and I feel like time is flying by. It seems lately that all I do is sleep, eat, & work and I don't have time for anything else. My last doctors apt. was on March 3rd and everything is going good so far with baby M&M. It has a heartbeat in the 160's and is developing right on time.
The only concern at this time is that my pelvic bone is supposed to be curving and right now it's straight so if it doesn't start curving I'll be having a C-section. :( I've come to the realization that if the baby is healthy then that's all that matters and I can deal with being cut open because the end result is ALL worth it!
Onto exciting things: baby purchases!! So far the baby has about 10 outfits and 8 of them are sports related. We took at trip out to WI for Mark's grandfathers funeral so we stopped at a store up there and picked up some Packers onesie's. :) Baby M&M also also some Blackhawks outfits as well as WHite Sox shoes. Yes...our baby is going to be one decked out sports baby. I can't wait to find out if it's a boy or a girl because I've seen the girl cheerleading outfits for sports teams and they are SO cute! :)
My next apt. will be on March 31st but we won't get another ultrasound until the 'Big' ultrasound in about 8 weeks. I think it's going to take forever to get here.
I will update, hopefully, this weekend with belly pics. I took one at 6 weeks and I will take one this weekend at 12 weeks and we'll see if we see a difference. I'm sure you will be able to! :)
